For everyoneAccessibility
A site you can use
with every sense.
How we make the site usable for everyone, the limits we know about and how to report a problem.
Conformance target
The site is designed to follow the WCAG 2.2, level AA guidelines. A formal assessment requires a dedicated audit, which we will carry out before the final release.
What we have already done
- Full keyboard navigation, with a "skip to content" link and a logical focus order.
- Focus states always visible, with sufficient contrast.
- Semantic HTML: header, nav, main, footer, hierarchical headings, labels on every form field with explicit error messages.
- Alternative text on informative images; decorative images are marked as such.
- Modal windows trap focus, close with Esc and return focus to where you started.
- Live regions (aria-live) for notifications and for the conversation with the assistant.
- The system "reduced motion" preference is respected: animations are switched off.
Keyboard shortcuts
- Tab / Shift+Tab
- Move forwards and backwards between elements
- Ctrl + K (or ⌘+K)
- Open search
- Esc
- Close windows, cart and menu
Known limitations
Cart, checkout and customer area use the shop engine's pages, dressed in the site's design: their accessibility is still being checked. We review colour contrast at every design update.
