Position: Altitude of 320 m a.s.l., west-facing exposure.
Soil: calcareous and sandy marl.
Grape variety: Barbera, vines approximately 10 years old.
Hand-harvested with cluster selection.
Pruning: Guyot.
Density: 4,400 vines per hectare.
Winemaking: soft crushing with destemming; controlled temperature fermentation with 7-10 days of maceration on the skins. After an adequate maturation period, a brief bottle aging precedes the release for sale.
Color: purplish ruby red.
Aroma: intense and spicy bouquet; hints of ripe cherry, flowers, and red fruits.
Taste: full, warm, and elegant.
Serve at a temperature of 18°C in a tulip-shaped glass.
